• Jim Mazziotti, a founding partner, certified coach, trainer and speaker with the John Maxwell Team and the franchise owner of EXIT Realty Bend, was elected to the board of directors for the National Guard Youth Foundation.

• Brent ten Pas was named the next director of member and public relations at Central Electric Cooperative. ten Pas was previously federal affairs manager at Northern California Power Agency. He will assume his responsibilities in April, succeeding Jeff Beaman.

• Garret Hammack, soils and construction materials technician at The Wallace Group, has earned two new International Code Council certifications: ICC Soils Special Inspector and ICC Reinforced Concrete.

• Jason Shurtz was hired as marketing manager of Tokyo Starfish, a cannabis dispensary serving Central Oregon. Shurtz is originally from Central Oregon.
