Bend-based Seven Peaks Ventures is launching a new venture capital fund, according to a recent disclosure to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Seven Peaks Ventures Fund II is looking to raise $30 million with a minimum investment of $100,000, according to the SEC filing. The firm, which invests in early-stage technology companies, is not advertising its securities offering to the general public, according to the filing.
Seven Peaks representatives could not be reached for comment.
This is the second investment fund Seven Peaks has created. Its first fund was launched in 2013.
Seven Peaks has raised $8.1 million and made 35 investments in 20 companies, according to Crunchbase, which gathers investment data from start-ups and venture capital firms.
Seven Peaks invests in data-driven software for large businesses, digital health technologies, machine learning and artificial intelligence and cloud-based computing.
