Riordan has a bachelor of science in interior design from Oregon State University.

Shauna Walker joins Ascent Architecture & Interiors as a summer architecture and interior design intern. She has a bachelor of arts in interior architecture from University of Oregon and plans to begin the school’s architecture master’s program in the fall.

Prior to joining Harcourts, Standerwick was vice president at Home Federal and Wells Fargo banks. She is a member of the city of Bend Affordable Housing Committee and a graduate of the Bend Chamber of Commerce Leadership Bend Class of 2014. Smith has 20 years of experience as a sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry, and she holds a degree in business management and communications from Northern Arizona University.

• Brooks Resources Corporation recently hired Meghan Hall as its new controller. Prior to joining Brooks Resources, Hall worked in auditing and accounting in the building insurance and financial industries. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Portland.

Sam Adams recently earned his doctorate in systematic theology at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He serves as assistant professor of theology and social justice and director of graduate studies at Kilns College in Bend. Prior to moving to Scotland, Adams owned a finish carpentry business and helped plant and pastor the Bend Mennonite Church, formerly known as the River Mennonite Church, in Bend.
