Michael Kohn (Public lands reporter)
Michael Kohn covers public lands and the environment for The Bulletin. Michael previously reported for Bloomberg, Reuters and the BBC in Mongolia, where he covered government, politics and business. His work there resulted in two books: "Dateline Mongolia" and "Lama of the Gobi." Michael has also written for Lonely Planet, covering more than 15 countries on five continents. Michael has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from University of California-Santa Barbara. He enjoys fishing and hiking in Central Oregon with his wife, Baigalmaa, and their two daughters.
