A Philadelphia native, Jenny spent 16 years as a lead designer for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review after her graduation from Penn State University, University Park, where she earned her bachelor's degree in journalism, with a minor in wildlife science. In addition to her journalism career, Jenny has had drawings and paintings featured in zines and art shows and often collaborates on political cartoons and short story drawings with The Development Committee, a Pittsburgh-based art group. In 2015, she illustrated and self-published a book called "Star Story." Outside of art and editing, Jenny frequently runs in charitable races, raising funds for organizations such as The Epilepsy Foundation, Haiti H2O and animal shelters and rescue organizations. She has a minor obsession with cats (including her own, Sailor), veganism, vintage clothing and David Foster Wallace.
