Erik Lukens (Editor)
Erik is editor of The Bulletin. He served for 13 years as the paper’s editorial page editor, beginning in 1998, before becoming city editor in 2011. Erik left in 2012 to become editorial page editor at The Oregonian, where he and his staff won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial writing in 2014. He returned to The Bulletin as editor in 2016. Erik has a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Cornell University and a doctorate in English Literature from Princeton University. He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida. Erik and his wife, Shelli Mulder, have three sons.
