A legendary defensive tackle for the Oregon Ducks is headed into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Haloti Ngata is among the 22 players in the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025, the National Football Foundation announced on Wednesday.

“Haloti Ngata’s selection to the College Football Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of his tremendous impact on college football and the University of Oregon football program,” Oregon athletic director Rob Mullens said in a press release. “During his time here, Haloti was a dominant force on the field, a leader in the locker room, and a role model for all.”

In 35 career games with the Ducks, Ngata amassed 151 total tackles, 24.5 for loss, 10 sacks, three forced fumbles and seven blocked kicks. He was named the Pac-10 defensive player of the year in 2005.

Drafted No. 12 overall by the Baltimore Ravens in 2006, Ngata spent 13 seasons in the NFL, including a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2013 and five Pro Bowl selections. Also playing for the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles, he was named a first-team All-Pro twice and second-team All-Pro three times. He is in the Ravens ring of honor.
