Women’s college basketball, NCAA Tournament second round, Oregon vs. Duke at Durham, N.C., 3:30 p.m. (ESPN2): The Ducks’ return to the Big Dance for the first time since 2005 started in dramatic fashion with Saturday’s 71-70 win over Temple. No. 10 seed Oregon faces a tall order against the No. 2 Blue Devils, who will have a serious home-court advantage at Cameron Indoor Stadium.


Men’s college basketball, NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, Oregon vs. Michigan at Kansas City, Mo., 4 p.m. (CBS): The No. 3 seed Ducks dodged an upset to overcome Rhode Island in the second round, earning a return to the round of 16 for the second year in a row and the third time in the past five seasons. No. 7 seed Michigan stands between Oregon and a return to the Elite Eight.


Women’s college basketball, NCAA Tournament Sweet 16, Oregon State vs. Florida State at Stockton, Calif., Time TBA (TV TBA): After surviving Long Beach State and then dispatching Creighton in the comfort of Gill Coliseum, the No. 2 seed Beavers head south to resume their bid for a return to the Final Four when they take on the No. 3 Seminoles at Stockton Arena.


Kayaking, Riverhouse Rendezvous in Bend: Following a one-year hiatus, the popular slalom race series returns to a stretch of the Deschutes River near Riverhouse on the Deschutes for two full days of racing. Running, Sunriver March Mudness Spring Break Mud Run, 1 p.m.: Runners can race, wade or wallow on a 1.5-mile course filled with obstacles.
