LOS ANGELES — C.J. McCollum scored 25 points and the Portland Trail Blazers used a dominant third quarter to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers for the 10th consecutive time, 108-87 on Tuesday night.
The Blazers trailed by two to start the second half, but held the Lakers to 21.7 percent shooting (5 of 23) and blocked four shots in the third quarter, outscoring Los Angeles 23-12.
Damian Lillard overcame a 0-for-8 start to finish with 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Portland. Al-Farouq Aminu had 15 rebounds, and Maurice Harkless scored 14 points.
The Lakers shot 38.6 percent for the game. Luol Deng led them with 14 points but did not make a field goal after the first half.
Portland outrebounded the Lakers 29-16 in the second half.
Raptors 114, Celtics 106: TORONTO — DeMar DeRozan scored a season-high 41 points and Kyle Lowry had 24 as Toronto Raptors ended Boston’s four-game winning streak.
Rockets 121, Hornets 114: HOUSTON — James Harden had 40 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists for his second consecutive triple-double, and Houston won its ninth straight win.
Jazz 100, Cavs 92: SALT LAKE CITY — Gordon Hayward had 22 points and went back and forth with LeBron James, who finished with 29 points, in Utah’s win.
Wizards 101, Bulls 99: WASHINGTON — John Wall scored 26 points, including a game-winning baseline jumper with 5.9 seconds left, and added 14 assists as Washington moved above .500.
Bucks 109, Spurs 107: SAN ANTONIO — Michael Beasley scored a season-high 28 points in place of an ill Giannis Antetokounmpo, to lift Milwaukee.
Hawks 117, Nets 97: NEW YORK — Dennis Schroder had 19 points and 10 assists, Dwight Howard added 14 points and 16 rebounds, and Atlanta won its season-high seventh straight.
Warriors 107, Heat 95: OAKLAND, Calif. — Stephen Curry had 24 points, nine assists and eight rebounds and Kevin Durant added 28 points to lift Golden State. Durant also had eight rebounds and Draymond Green had 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the Warriors’ fifth straight win against the Heat and eighth in 10, including three in a row at home.
Kings 100, Pistons 94: SACRAMENTO, Calif. — DeMarcus Cousins had 24 points, 13 rebounds and six assists to help Sacramento rally from nine-point deficit after three quarters.
