Shirley Maxine Adrian of Redmond, OR, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, October 27, 2017. She was 76.
A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at a later time.
Shirley was born April 1, 1941, in Hillsboro, OR, at home. She spent most of her life in Salem, Portland, and Redmond, OR.
Shirley was a devoted mom, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
Shirley loved gardening, garage sales, and especially shopping with her daughters. She was a great card player and had several friends she loved playing cards with. She loved knowing everything about her family and collected every picture she could get. She was the family historian and a second mom to her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother, Dale Haley; daughters, Debra Herring (Scott Horner), Nancie Ryan (Cliff Ryan), Tina Sexton (Randy Sexton), and Julie Cooper; sons, James Adrian and Mark Warye. Son, Joseph Adrian (Suk Adrian) predeceased her.
Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was so proud of all of them. She considered her family her greatest accomplishment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Golden Age Club (her favorite place to play cards), or the American Lung Assoc., or a charity of your choice.
