Patricia Adams of Redmond, Oregon, died March 12, 2014, at the age of 78.
She was born November 11, 1935, in Glendale, Oregon, to Norman and Emily Rose (Lerwell) Krantz. She grew up in the tri-cities of Douglas County south of Roseburg, Oregon.
In 1975, she married Gary Adams, they resided in Harrisburg, before moving to Redmond, Oregon, where they owned and operated Gary Adams Trucking.
Patricia was an American Indian of Cow Creek Umpqua Indians. She helped with the SMART reading program for over six years. She also enjoyed oil painting, Indian bead work and researching her family genealogy. She even wrote a book.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sis and Larry Forbis; grandchildren, Micheal and Levi McClure; and great-grandchildren, Aleena and Daxton McClure. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary in 1996; and her two sons, Kim and Dallas Paroz.
A visitation will be held at Redmond Memorial Chapel March 20 and 21, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Rondeau Family Cemetery in Tiller, Oregon, at 1:00 p.m.
