Mac McLean (Features reporter)

Mac McLean is a features reporter at The Bulletin. He writes about Central Oregon's baby boomers, seniors, and the issues that affect their daily lives. He came to the Bulletin in December of 2011 after spending almost 10 years covering local, state, and federal politics for the Bristol Herald Courier in Southwest Virginia/Northeast Tennessee, the Danville Register & Bee in Southside Virginia and the Capitol Pulse in Washington, D.C. McLean received a master's degree in journalism and public communications from American University in 2004. He lives in Bend with his wife and two dogs. He also skis, makes his own beer, owns a Subaru and rides a bike to work as often as he can.
