Jon Bier, lead bartender at the Deschutes Brewery Bend Public House, works on filling orders of Abyss Imperial Stout as fast as he can during Thursday's release celebration for the brew. The Bend establishment had six kegs of Abyss on-site for the festivities, which started at 11 a.m., and expected to run out by the end of the evening.

The Bend brewery had six kegs of Abyss on site for the celebration and expected to run out by the end of the night. Approximately 1,200 barrels of the 2013 Abyss were produced this year and will be shipping out across the country next week.
