At the Columbia River Circuit Rodeo Finals in Redmond last weekend, spectators and contestants dressed to represent the rodeo, express their personality, and showcase artistic work and athletic achievements.
The fashion choices on display included trophy buckles, hand-tooled belts, Cinch shirts, cowboy hats and tribal prints.
”The glitzier the better,” said Dodie Sand of Crooked River Ranch.
”We always have big curly hair,” said Sarah Kunkle, 2013 Chief Joseph Days queen.
The circuit rodeo season in the Northwest is over, and the 2013 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo will be held in Las Vegas next month.
