Scattered among the sagebrush and juniper trees at Crooked River Ranch are 18 baskets colored white and orange. These ”basket holes” are now a permanent fixture of Coyote's Den, the newest disc golf course in Central Oregon.

A ribbon cutting on Oct. 19 gave people a chance to try the course out. Enthusiasts, professionals and two world champions, Nate Doss and Valarie Jenkins, attended.
