The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is set to host an open house next month in Sisters to collect public comments on the possible designation of the Metolius-Windigo Trail as a designated scenic trail.
The open house is planned for 6 to 7:30 p.m. July 16 at Ray’s Food Place at 635 N. Arrowleaf Trail. The trail designation program started in 1971 to help promote outdoor recreation opportunities in Oregon.
