The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office this morning lifted all evacuation warnings in west Bend due to the Two Bulls Fire. An evacuation warning is still up for 50 homes along Skyliners Road.
A reward for information leading to a conviction in the human-caused, possibly arson blaze continues to grow. As of this morning it is now $31,500, following a $5,000 contribution by Eric and Robin Coats of Shevlin Sand and Gravel.
The fire this morning remains at 6,908 acres and is 55 percent contained, said Tina O’Donnell, spokeswoman for the Oregon Department of Forestry. Cost of fighting the fire, which was first spotted Saturday, has been $4.3 million.
