Rob Kerr / The Bulletin Runinda and Jeff McCormack look over their cattle on BLM land near Brothers while discussing the sage grouse Thursday. The couple’s business operates on 150,000 acres, most of which is owned by the Bureau of Land Management. They, too, are looking out for the sage grouse, they say, and the couple wants to avoid the bird being listed under the Endangered Species Act. “We’ve changed our grazing patterns,” Jeff McCormack said.
