High schools in the Bend-La Pine school district are inviting current eighth-graders and their families to information nights that will focus on programs and opportunities available for students, as well as the two new high schools opening in the fall.

Information nights are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Bend Senior High; 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at Mountain View; and 6 p.m. Feb. 22, at Summit.

Information nights at La Pine and Marshall high schools is not yet available.

Families interested in learning more about Realms High School or Skyline High School — the two new small specialty schools opening this fall — can get their first look at both schools at an information night at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Education Center located at 520 NW Wall St.

Individual information nights for Realms High School are scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 24 at Pilot Butte Middle School; 6 p.m. Feb. 6 at Bend Senior High School; and 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at Realms Middle School.

Skyline High School is hosting information nights at 6 p.m., Jan. 31 at Pacific Crest Middle School; 6 p.m. Feb. 13 at Sky View Middle School; and 6 p.m. March 7 at the Education Center.

Families living in the Bend-La Pine boundaries can enroll students in their designated neighborhood schools at anytime and must fill out at Attendance Area Change Request form before March 1 in order to request attendance at a different high school.
