College Notes

Andrew Corrigan, of Sisters, has been admitted to the Honors College at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.

Alyssa Phillips, of Bend, has been inducted into Pi Sigma Alpha, a national political science honor society, at Wheaton College in Illinois.

Riley Barrett, of Sisters, has been named to the spring 2014 dean’s list at Fairfield University in Connecticut.

Bradley Laubacher, of Bend, has been named to the Pac-12 All-Academic and Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic teams and was nominated for the 2013-14 Doyle Higdon Memorial Award for athletic achievement, scholarship and citizenship. Laubacher is a scholar-athlete at the University of Oregon. He is the son of Roger and Karen Laubacher, of Bend.

Jason Wilkens, of Bend, has graduated from Grove City College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is the son of Jim and Sharon Wilkens, of Bend.

Jake Bass, of Bend, has graduated from Upper Iowa University in Fayette with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
