COCC building closed Friday after transformer failure

Central Oregon Community College’s Boyle Education Center will be closed Friday after the building’s main transformer experienced a partial failure Thursday evening.

The transformer must be replaced, and the temporary replacement will be installed Friday morning. In the meantime, Campus Public Safety will continue to operate. The Financial Aid department will be available in Redmond or by phone at 541-383-7260. Admissions and Records also will be available in Redmond or by phone at 541-383-7500. Those who need to submit paperwork related to either department will be able to do so in the Office of Student Life from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Paychecks will be available in Human Resources, located in Newberry Hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
