‘Aquari-van’ headed this way

The Oregon Coast Aquarium’s “Aquari-van” will visit Central Oregon schools Tuesday and Wednesday, offering local students the chance to learn about marine wildlife.

The annual program will visit schools in Bend, Sunriver, Redmond and Metolius. This year’s topic is sharks, and students will learn about the underwater predators. Students will also get a chance to meet “Timmy,” a life-size inflatable great white shark.
