High Desert gets $125,000 grant

Money will be used for programs on Great Depression

The High Desert Museum has received a $125,000 grant from the Oregon Community Foundation to develop new programming that tells stories of the Great Depression.

In a news release, the Oregon Community Foundation said the museum has already commissioned three artists to create new works of literature, music, theater, film and visual arts.
