Portland folk-pop stalwarts The Decemberists are headed back to Bend.

The indie rock quintet will return to Les Schwab Amphitheater on July 26, with Chicago band Whitney opening. The Decemberists last performed at the amphitheater in 2015 in support of its comeback album, “What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World,” which concluded a multi-year hiatus. “I’ll Be Your Girl,” the band’s eighth studio album, is due out Friday and is currently streaming at npr.org.

Tickets cost $40.50 plus fees in advance or $46 at the gate, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at bit.ly/bbDecemberists or the Ticket Mill in the Old Mill District. Presale tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at the same link (use password Local). Visit bendconcerts.com for more information.
