La Magie Bakery and Cafe

Walking into La Magie Bakery and Cafe, passing a glass case filled with strawberry tarts and German chocolate cake, most linger for a few minutes looking at the beautifully arranged sweets, already planning what they want after lunch. It’s no wonder they were named No. 1 by readers as Where to GO! for Dessert.

The bakery and cafe has an extensive pastries and dessert menu, including cakes, tarts, croissants, cookies, brownies, bars and more. Some are creme-filled, some are covered with chocolate and others are topped with fruit and berries.

The dessert options are endless, from light and fluffy to rich and decadent; customers won’t be disappointed. La Magie is also a popular spot for breakfast and lunch. It is open daily at 7:30 a.m.(lamagiecafe.com)

Bonta Natural Artisan Gelato

Bonta Natural Artisan Gelato, located in downtown Bend, took the No. 2 spot for dessert. The gelato is handcrafted daily in Bend and there’s at least 18 signature flavors to choose from at the shop. The gelato is creamy and delicious, and some of the favorite flavors include dulce de leche with sea salt, Tumalo lavender and honey and vanilla bourbon pecan.

Pine Tavern Restaurant & Bar

Pine Tavern Restaurant & Bar, the historic downtown restaurant also known for its happy hour, came in third place for its dessert menu.
