2 arrested on N.Y. charges in Oregon

KLAMATH FALLS — Federal authorities say two men wanted in the theft of thousands of prescription pills in New York state have been arrested in a town of about 400 people.

The Herald and News reported the two were taken into custody Monday in Bonanza, east of Klamath Falls. They were identified as 45-year-old William H. Chapple III and 21-year-old Cody S. Broecker.

The U.S. attorney’s office in western New York said they face burglary and drug charges from the theft of 15,000 to 20,000 pills.
