Bob Singer has been appointed to the Oregon Association of Broadcasters board of directors. Singer is the general manager of Newschannel 21 and KFXO-TV and has been in the broadcast business for more than 30 years. He is also the board chairman of the Tower Theatre Foundation.

John Snippen of Coldwell Banker Morris Real Estate in Bend has received the certified residential specialist designation from the Council of Residential Specialists. This designation is based on expertise in residential real estate and continuing education.

Kyle Frick, vice president of marketing at Mid Oregon Credit Union, was elected vice chairman of the Northwest Credit Union Foundation. Frick was part of the committee that worked to develop a new logo and new look for the foundation, now the second-largest credit union foundation in the nation.

Tony Aceti, of Bend, is presenting his game, Word-Roulette, at the DaVinci Inventor Showcase in Denver. Aceti has been developing and improving the game over the past three years and has produced online and app versions. He also owns the Hay Depot at Deschutes Junction.

Larry Henry and Donna Henry have joined Exit Realty Bend. Larry is a broker and has more than 13 years of experience in the real estate industry. Donna will be providing service to homebuyers as part of the Exit core team.

Matthew Martin has been named NeighborImpact's employee of the month for August. Martin is an energy specialist for the housing department and has been with NeighborImpact since January 2011. He also recently spent several months coordinating an energy video that will serve as an educational tool for the agency.

Scott Garciahas joined Prudential Northwest Properties in Bend. Garcia is a licensed principal real estate broker in Oregon and California. He is a former brokerage owner and has a background in the high-tech industry. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and in residential, commercial and golf course property transactions.

James Weber has been promoted to vice president at Wells Fargo. Weber is Wells Fargo's community banking district manager for Central Oregon and manages service, sales, community support and training efforts at 10 bank branches. Weber was previously the assistant vice president. Weber joined Wells Fargo in 2000, was deployed in the U.S. Army after Sept. 11, 2001, and returned to Wells Fargo in 2003.

Cathy Malk has joined Bend Premier Real Estate as a broker. She began working in real estate as a listing coordinator and later became an employee of the Central Oregon multiple listing service office. She has previously worked as a broker in the Sunriver area.
