With spring break in full swing, showers are possible in Central Oregon this week.
There will be a slight chance of rain throughout the week, with mild daytime temperatures and cold overnight lows, according to Rob Brooks with the National Weather Service in Pendleton.
“The high pressure is expected to stay in the area until Tuesday,” said Brooks. “After that you should start to see some increased clouds and rain.”
There is a 30 percent chance of rain today and Tuesday, with overnight lows reaching the low 30s on both days. There is a slight chance of showers Wednesday. Daytime high temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 50s.
Thursday’s daytime high is forecasted to be in the mid to upper 50s while overnight lows are expected to drop to the low 30s. Friday should be mostly cloudy with a high of 60 degrees and a low around 30. Saturday and Sunday could be partly cloudy with highs near 60 and overnight lows of around 31 degrees.
