• Bike movie nights on tap: After a hiatus of more than three years, Pine Mountain Sports is bringing back monthly bicycle movie nights at McMenamins Old St. Francis School in Bend. The first movie in the series is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Thursday. Admission is $5; adults age 21 and older may attend.

The film, titled “Pedal-Driven,” a mountain “bikeumentary” that follows the sometimes-challenging process of creating and sharing trails, along with showcasing the riding in these riding areas. One of the case studies featured in this film is the amenable relationship between the U.S. Forest Service and the Central Oregon Trail Alliance, which is the beneficiary of this month’s movie night.
