Seven members of the Bend Elks have been named to the 2013 West Coast League All-Star Game.

First baseman Derek Dixon, second baseman Seth Spivey, outfielders Chase Fields and Turner Gill, and pitchers Clay Gartner, David Murillo and Hunter Raley will all play for the WCL South Division squad during the league’s all-star contest next Tuesday at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria, British Columbia.

The Elks, who at 20-13 this season are tied for the best record in the league with the Corvallis Knights, had the second-most players selected to the all-star game. Only the Walla Walla Sweets, with nine players, will have more all-stars in Victoria.

Bend, which was off Monday night, continues WCL play tonight with a 6:35 home game against the Klamath Falls Gems.
