Two free outdoor concert series will kick off in Redmond parks in the next 10 days.
First up is Music in the Canyon, held at American Legion Community Park, 850 S.W. Rimrock Way. It begins Wednesday with the longtime local country band Countryfied, and the rest of the lineup looks like this:
July 3 — Mosley Wotta (hip-hop)
July 4 — Fourth of July celebration with the Summit Express Jazz Band, The River Pigs and more
July 17 — The Soul Benders (party music)
July 26 — Mexican Gunfight (roots-rock)
July 31 — Burnin’ Moonlight (blues ’n’ bluegrass)
Aug. 2 — The Sweatband (funk)
Aug. 14 — Hangar 52 (classic rock)
Aug. 28 — The Stunt Poets (rock)

Then on June 26, Music on the Green begins in Sam Johnson Park at Southwest 15th Street and Southwest Evergreen Avenue. Here’s the lineup:
June 26 — TKO (funk, country and rock)
July 10 — The Pitchtones (bluegrass)
July 24 — Jacob Merlin Band (funk/jazz)
Aug. 7 — Carrie Cunningham & The Six Shooters (country)
Aug. 21 — Lori Fletcher with The Rock Hounds (rock ’n’ blues)
Sept. 4 — Hokulea Dancers (Hawaiian dance and drumming)
