Responding to its customers’ requests, Bend Research has added on-site storage and additional testing to help pharmaceutical companies maintain high-quality drug manufacturing, according to a news release.
The new climate-controlled storage will cut down on the need for subcontractors, allowing Bend Research clients to work with a single vendor, according to the release, issued Tuesday.
The company has also increased its ability to analyze “good manufacturing practices,” which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration requires drugmakers to follow to ensure the quality of their products.
Bend Research has added instruments to its existing good-manufacturing-practice-approved equipment, according to the release.
The changes are part of the company’s continuing efforts to provide clients with services and testing to take drugs from concept to commercialization, Tanya Hayden, Bend Research vice president, said in the news release.
