Crook County Sheriff’s deputies broke up what they say was an underage drinking party Friday night at a campsite along Walton Lake Road in the Ochoco National Forest about 30 miles east of Prineville.

Terence Wolfe, 22, of Warm Springs was cited and released for furnishing alcohol to minors at the party, according to the Crook County Sheriff’s Office.

Six 18- and 19-year-olds from around Central Oregon were cited and released for being minors in possession of alcohol, as were six minors, under 18. Deputies said “numerous” other people ran into the woods when the bust began around 8:30 p.m.
