Margie Louise Howarth was born Dec. 21, 1935, in Belt, MT, the daughter of late Percy Clark and Pauline Sticka Clark. She was raised and received her education in Forest Grove, OR.

Margie was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart William David Bill Howarth on Oct. 3, 1953, in Forest Grove, OR.

Following their marriage they resided in Sacramento, CA, where Bill was stationed in the Air Force. While in Sacramento both their sons, Michael William and Timothy Allen, were born.

In 1957, after Bill's discharge from the Air Force, they moved to Seattle, WA, where they both worked for Boeing Aircraft. Returning to Forest Grove in 1960, they built a new home, raised their boys, enjoyed relatives and life-long friends, and worked at various careers. After retiring in 1989, Crooked River Ranch became their new home, spending the winters traveling south for twenty years.

Margie enjoyed golfing, long power walks, traveling, and Nevada gaming.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mable; and survived by her husband, Bill; sons, Michael of Cougar, WA, and Timothy and Carol of Hillsboro, OR; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
