Beulah Fay, age 75, of Bend, passed away on March 12, 2013, at her home after a battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme Cancer.
She was born April 9, 1937, in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of the late Walter and Ella Goodat.
She grew up in Portland where she attended Franklin High School. Her first job was a telephone operator at Pacific Northwest Bell, and then a supervisor at Purdy Brush Company in North Portland.
Later in life she moved to Sunriver, Oregon, where she worked at the Sunriver Book Store and then as the concierge at Sunriver Lodge. She later moved to Bend with her husband, where she continued to stay active in the community through P.E.O. International.
Surviving her is her husband, Ed Fay; two daughters, Linda Kay Ball and Cheryl Lyn Strohl; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Joyce Magnuson.
Her ashes will be laid to rest at Pilot Butte Cemetery in Bend.
In accordance with Beulahs wishes, no memorial services are scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Partners In Care Hospice, Bend, Oregon.
