• John Taylor, of RBC Wealth Management in Bend, was recently selected as a member of the firm's Portfolio Focus — Portfolio Manger Group. Taylor creates customized portfolios to meet clients' investment needs, manages portfolios and provides customer service.

• Bend Area Habitat for Humanity welcomes four new board members and two returning members to its board of directors: Greg Blackmore, land development and builder service representative for First American Title; Kelly Fisher, client services manager for Housing Works' homeownership and client services programs; Sandy Crenshaw, licensed civil and structural engineer and co-owner of Bend Structural Engineering; Kristal Eddington, who has five years of experience with HOA management; Doug Watson, retired executive with Hewlett Packard and returning board member; and Bree Beal, volunteer, escrow officer, member of the Family Services Committee and a returning board member.

• Susan Bailey has been elected as president of NeighborImpact's board of directors. Bailey has served on the board for three years and recently headed the executive director search committee. She has worked for the city of Redmond Public Works Department for the last three years.

• Cindy King, Rebekah Pahlisch and Jessica Ardeljan have joined The Hasson Company Central Oregon branch. King has been a licensed broker since 1996, has served as president of the board for the Central Oregon Association of Realtors and serves on the professional standards committee. Pahlisch has a degree in art from Linfield College and has experience in buying and selling real estate. Ardeljan has a degree in English from Loyola Marymount University and has experience in home building, remodeling and real estate sales.

• Melissa Hamilton has joined The Hasson Company's Buccola Group as a licensed transaction coordinator. Hamilton received her real estate license in 2012.

• Ann Willis has joined The Hasson Company's Buccola Group as an administrative assistant in Bend. Willis has a background in sales and marketing and for the last two years was the communications director for Willis Builders.

• Daniel Johnston has joined McGrath's Fish House in Bend as the new general manager.

• Karen Van Winkle has been named NeighborImpact's Employee of the Month for December, 2012. Van Winkle started with NeighborImpact as an on-call human resources support staff member in 2010 and currently works as a specialist for the human resources and development departments.

• Stuart Johns and Rob Hakala, both first vice presidents – financial advisers at RBC Wealth Management in Bend, were recently selected to be members of the firm's Consulting Group. The group is for advisers recognized for their success in building consultative, fee-based businesses. To qualify for the group, Johns and Hakala demonstrated a commitment to a consultant-based investment practice, helping clients build investment portfolios and maintaining an excellent record of customer service.

• The 2013 Women's Council of Realtors leadership team, under the direction of Sandy Goodsell with Re/Max Revolution in Sisters, spent two half days in Sunriver with Jan McGowan NonProfit Consulting and special guests formulating an operating plan for 2013. This year's chosen theme is Empower and Impact.

• Gerald Hannon has joined Wells Fargo Advisors in Bend as a financial adviser and vice president — investments. Hannon previously worked for 21 years at Chase Investments as a financial adviser and has a bachelor's degree in political science form Oregon State University.

Craig Marshall has joined Deschutes Brewery as its new south-central zone sales manager. Marshall is based in Phoenix and will oversee sales and team members in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Utah and New Mexico. He most recently served as a national account manager for AmeriGas for the western half of the United States. He has a degree in business from Arizona State University and more than 20 years of experience in sales in the beverage and beer industries.
