Recently you published a letter to the editor blaming big trucks for road damage. You need to get out your tape measure and measure the ruts in the roads. You will find that they are the exact width of a compact car.

You should focus on outlawing studded tires. If drivers feel they need more traction, put on chains and slow down. By the way, I learned to drive in Minnesota and have lived in Central Oregon for 42 years and have never owned studded tires and had no problem getting where I wanted to go. Please do your homework before you print false information. Thank you.
