•St. Charles Health System and Institute for Healthcare Improvement recently announced they have formed a partnership to improve health and health care within Central Oregon. St. Charles has committed to using IHI’s Triple Aim of better health, better care and better value to define its strategic direction. The partnership provides ways of increasing organization efficiency and improving quality and safety outcomes. Experts from the Cambridge, Mass.-based nonprofit will work with St. Charles for the next 17 months.
