• Jim Wallace recently joined Apex Physical Therapy in Madras. Wallace earned his bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Alabama and has been a physical therapist for 14 years. He will be providing orthopedic evaluation and treatments and offer services in sports therapy and injury rehabilitation.

• Shanette Menegus recently joined Rebound Physical Therapy in Bend at its west-side clinic. Originally from Norway, Menegus completed her physical therapy degree at Hunter College in New York City. She has worked the last 10 years at St. Charles Bend and Hands On Physical Therapy. Her area of expertise is orthocupping, a technique for treating soft tissue injuries and restoring biomechanics.

• Benjamin J. Miriovsky recently joined Bend Memorial Clinic as an Oncology and Hematology specialist. Miriovsky received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and his master's degree from the University of Iowa. He graduated with the highest distinction in medicine, followed by completing his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Duke University. Miriovsky is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Hematology.
