• Ron Carpenter, of Alpine Physical Therapy and Spine Care, recently completed certification in mechanical diagnosis and therapy, an advanced therapy method for treating neck and low back pain. Carpenter is an orthopedic physical therapist with 17 years of experience treating musculoskeletal issues. He works at Bend's east-side clinic in the Pilot Butte Medical Center, 2275 N.E. Doctors Drive, Suite 3.

• Laura Taylor recently joined Therapeutic Associates Bend Physical Therapy. She received her undergraduate degree in exercise and sports science from Oregon State University, worked in Bend as an athletic trainer for Bend-La Pine Schools and then went on to earn her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado in Denver. Taylor is a certified athletic trainer and physical therapist.
