No-guns policy will have unintended consequences

“Starbucks wants guns out of shops.” That article appeared on page A4 of a recent Bulletin. That’s fine. Every business has the right to their “no guns” policy, but as a duly licensed hand gun permit holder, I will not patronize Starbucks or any other business that displays a “no guns” sign on the door. I am a law-abiding citizen and use my weapon only for the defense of my family and myself. Bad guys don’t care about “no guns” signs. There are unintended consequences of a “no guns” policy. Like Sandy Hook school or the Navy yard shooting, the next time a mentally deranged person starts randomly shooting their customers, there won’t be anyone there to stop the threat.
