Local community members with older cell phones can consider donating them to help local homeless teenagers.

Beulah’s Place in Redmond, a shelter for homeless teens, is currently sponsoring a collection drive for mobile devices including laptops, cell phones and other items.

The devices will be given to Causes International, which uses the devices for reconditioned equipment or recycled parts. For each device donated, Beulah’s Place will receive a donation.

Individuals can also bring their electronic goods to Beulah’s Place rummage sale Oct. 18-19, which will take place at Highland Baptist Church, 3100 S.W. Highland Ave., Redmond.
