Two Bend companies are among 10 semifinalists under consideration for the Growth Stage Competition in the Bend Venture Conference, Economic Development for Central Oregon announced Thursday.
InvestiPro, which created an automated application for conducting internal workplace investigations, and LeadMethod, which makes channel revenue optimization software, are one step closer to the final competition, according to EDCO.
The venture conference is Oct. 19 and 20 at the Tower Theatre in Bend. The Growth Stage Competition will be Oct. 20 with five finalists making presentations in hope of earning investments. Investments last year ranged from $100,000 to $1.75 million.
Other companies in the top 10 are as follows: Allumia of Seattle provides energy efficiency as a service to commercial and industrial buildings; DesignMedix of Portland develops drugs to overcome drug resistance; Drone Complier of Portland provides government compliance management and field services to the drone industry; Handful of Wilsonville, Oregon, makes lifestyle clothing for women; Mogol Inc. of Portland connects cities and states to cars so they can control traffic flow without roadside equipment; Tali of Portland is a voice-driven productivity assistant powered by artificial intelligence; Tripgrid of Portland simplifies travel management; UbiquiOS Technology of Dublin, California, provides low-cost wireless connectivity software for internet-of-things applications.
