The median sales price for a residential property in Bend reached $390,000 in May, 3.4 percent higher than May 2016, according to the Central Oregon Association of Realtors.

The association includes single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums in its summary. Homes listed for sale that month numbered 744, sold at 278 and pending at 311.

In Redmond, the median sales price in May reached $295,000, 7.3 percent higher than a year prior, according to the Realtors association. Homes for sale last month numbered 248, sold at 95 and pending at 108.

Sisters showed the highest median sales price for a home in May in Central Oregon, according to the Realtors. Homes sold for a median price of $440,000, according to the monthly report. In all, 78 were listed, 18 were sold and 22 were pending.

Jefferson County saw the lowest median sales price in May in Central Oregon; the association reported a $203,000 median price, 12.7 percent higher than May 2016.
