Business people on the move

• Lisa Stoudt, of Sisters, has been promoted by Wells Fargo to manager of its bank branch at 960 NW Wall St., Bend. She is now responsible for the customer service, professional development and community involvement efforts of six team members. She earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from Lebanon Valley College.

• Dena Coyner, of Cinder Rock Veterinary Clinic in Redmond, has been named the veterinary practice manager of the year by the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association. The award recognizes an individual who has exhibited exceptional professionalism in leading the practice.

• Mark Long, of Evergreen Home Loans, has achieved Presidents Club honors for 2016. This status is given to the top 1 percent of loan officers companywide based on loan volume and number of units throughout the calendar year.

• Jeff Berkebile has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• Andrew Blake has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• Taylor Costa has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• James Eck has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• Brandon Hargous has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• Justin Holck has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• Paul Moresi has joined the Bend Fire Department as an ambulance operator.

• Robert Pease has joined Cascade Angels Fund as a community adviser and member of the investment committee. He began his career as a management consultant with Accenture’s Global Communications and Technology practice in Washington, D.C. He holds a BBA in finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Tennessee.

• Megan Power has earned the International President’s Circle award, given to the top 6 percent of all brokers internationally.

• Ryan Eckman, Ryan Higgins and Robert Eckman, of Mike’s Fence Center, have been designated as certified automated gate systems designers by the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation. The certification is given to individuals who demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and expertise in the design of automated gate systems.

• Jason Mooney is now the vice president of treasury solutions at Bank of the Cascades. Mooney oversees the bank’s cash management solutions to help business customers manage processes and transactions.

• Michael Groza is now vice president of commercial lending relationships at Bank of the Cascades. Groza supports the bank’s commercial lending initiatives with special focus on commercial, real estate and construction loans.

• Kari Hathorn, Deschutes County deputy district attorney, has been named the 2016 DUII prosecutor of the year by the Oregon DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force, a nonprofit that provides training and consultation to state, local, community and professional partners involved in the deterrence of impaired driving. Hathorn has been a prosecutor in Deschutes County since 2010.

• Dan Sweeney is the new general manager for Elemental Energy. He brings an education in renewable energy engineering from OIT and over 30 years of technical experience. Sweeney is also an adjunct professor for the energy systems engineering program at OSU-Cascades.
