Muddy bikes

Above, junior racer Alec Miller runs his bike up a hill on a muddy section of the U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross Deschutes Brewery Cup course on Saturday in the Old Mill District in Bend. At left, racers ride and walk up a hill on Saturday. In Saturday’s men’s elite race, Bend’s Ryan Trebon was the winner, while fellow Bend rider Adam Craig took third. The USGP continues today with races starting at 8 a.m.
