Central Oregon Pediatric Associates has reopened its facility in east Bend. The facility recently was expanded and remodeled to streamline patient care, increase efficiency of the medical team, save energy and integrate a new electronic health-records system. Sunnyside Sports in Bend is celebrating its 40th anniversary from 6 to 9 p.m. today. Full Access has received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Excellence in Workplace Effectiveness and Flexibility. There were 25 recipients of this award, which recognizes employers' flexibility programs and practices. Full Access is a Eugene-based organization with operations in Bend. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon has selected THA Architecture and Kirby Nagelhout Construction Co. for its planned church construction in Bend. The building is planned to be a model of sustainability and community access and is expected to be complete by 2015. BBT Architects is pleased to announce the completion of Mt. Bachelor ski area's newest building, the Mountain Gateway. The building is located near the West Village Lodge and will temporarily house employee lockers, but will eventually be used for administrative purposes. Final improvements are scheduled for next summer.
