Bend’s Community Center will host the seventh annual Hoedown for Hunger 1 to 9 p.m. Dec. 1.
A fundraiser for the center as it moves toward financial stability and recovery, Hoedown for Hunger’s proceeds will go to the Feed the Hungry program, which prepares more than 2,000 meals each week for the homeless and hungry in Central Oregon.
The day will feature a mix of Americana, folk and bluegrass music by Back from the Dead, Bare Roots, Felly Smith Quincy Street, Bobby Lindstrom, Bluestarz, Prairie Rockets and many more.
The event will feature all-you-can-eat chili, desserts from Nancy P’s and more.
Admission is $20, $10 for seniors and kids 16 and younger. Tickets are available in advance at www.bendscommunitycenter.org, by calling 541-312-2069 or at the door.
