PV Powered’s Gregg Patterson has been selected as a 2011 Pivotal Leader, an annual honor recognizing Northwest leaders of clean energy technology.
Patterson — executive vice president and renewables general manager of Advanced Energy, PV Powered’s parent company — was one of 47 leaders named Wednesday by the Portland-based Pivotal Leaders Network. It was the second year of the awards.
The 2011 leaders were chosen from more than 700 nominations from Oregon, Washington, Idaho and British Columbia, Canada, according to a news release. Others selected include Allen Alley, chairman of Pixelworks and former Oregon Republican gubernatorial candidate; Andrea Durbin, executive director of the Oregon Environmental Council; and state Reps. Tobias Read, D-Beaverton, and Jules Bailey, D-Portland.
