Firefighters pull out horses stuck in mud

OREGON CITY — Firefighters have rescued a pair of elderly horses who got stuck in mud 2 feet deep in Clackamas County.

Sharon MacFarlane told The Oregonian the mud was in a strip left after a drainage pipe was buried at her place northeast of Oregon City.
